The core of the multi-channel energy meter are four measuring channels, each with one current and one voltage measurement. This allows simultaneous measurements on 4 channels  U, I, φu, φ, f and P. The newly developed interface is optimised for power converter, drive and frequency converter technology. Frequency spectra (FFT analysis) and network reactions can be investigated in combination with CASSY Lab 2. FPGA-based real-time processing in the device also enables comprehensive network analysis in the three-phase networks, which are displayed directly on the device in the vector diagram, e.g. for analysing the electromagnetically excited synchronous machines in motor and generator operation or the permanently magnetically excited synchronous machines in motor and generator operation. Drivers allow you to evaluate the data with LABVIEW and MATLAB.

The "Plus" is the addition of an isolation amplifier and function generator. In addition to the 4-channel isolation amplifier, the fifth output channel serves as a function generator. Thus the combination with a 4-channel oscilloscope or another analog measuring device is created.
