More than 50 sensors for over 100 variables

You can select from more than 50 CASSY sensors. Our range fully covers curriculum contents in physics, chemistry and biology for both levels of secondary education. Most topics in secondary practical or theoretical lessons are covered as well. In total more than 100 variables can be measured using our sensors. The wide range of applications runs from voltage, current and temperature, conductivity, pressure, oxygen saturation, time interval, displacement and force, pulse rate, hearing threshold, blood pressure, skin resistance, velocity and acceleration to X-ray energy spectra, optical extinction and electrostatic fields. Apart from conventional sensors, we also offer some unusual types such as the laser motion sensor, electrostatic field meter, immersion photometer and the MCA box. With these sensors, it is possible to authentically research various contents and topics in lessons, either in demonstrations, student experiments or practicals, especially those aspects for which humans have no specific sensory organs.


M-series sensors – Ideal for student experiments

Especially for student experiments using Mobile-CASSY 2, our sensor range includes the M-series sensors. These sensors’ carefully selected measuring ranges perfectly complement student experiments. With these sturdy and affordable sensors, a large number of student experiments can be carried out.

Sensitive, sturdy and versatile

The CASSY sensors cover a wide range of measurable variables in physics, chemistry and biology. This opens up the possibility of combining measurements of multiple variables by a single system. The CASSY sensors are reliable, capable of sensitive measurement and simultaneously sturdy to handle. 

CASSY sensors respond with great sensitivity to changes in variables thanks to their high resolution. The changes are shown directly and reliably on the devices themselves. Also, the CASSY sensors make measurements which are reproducible – a fundamental prerequisite for successful preparation. The sensors are robust in application and sturdy to handle. In particular they are impressive for their large measuring ranges.

Ease of handling

To make the handling of measuring instruments and sensors as simple as possible, all the sensors are designed to be easy to connect to the base modules. M-series sensors are plugged in via their attached Mini-DIN leads. S-series sensors are plugged in directly or via an optional cable. The sensors are automatically detected by the measuring instruments and the variables they measure are also configured automatically.
