HIGH VOLTAGE TRAINER
The power grid of an electric vehicle is an on-board network of voltage class B and creates an isolated constructed power supply system in driving mode (IT Network). The Automotive high voltage trainer enables the possibility to practically train with the handling of high-voltage components for hybrid/electric vehicles irrespective of the brand of the vehicle. The device is not only suitable for the demonstration by the instructor/teacher but also for carrying out practical training by the trainees/students.
The system is designed in such a way that the measurements can be performed without voltage or on energised parts. All measurements and exercises can be also executed safely without special safety equipment. This means that even the free cutting of HV components can be performed safely under load as a teaching situation whereby the effect of arcing during the severing of the high-voltage cable is visible. After severing a high-voltage cable, a new cable must be pre-assembled and installed.

Driver Assistance Systems
Drive Train and networked systems
Power Steering
Energy-efficient systems must be implemented to reduce the electrical power consumption of a modern private car. The electromechanical power steering system generates high steering assistance power from a 12 V on-board network when needed - and only then. For this purpose, a permanently excited DC shunt motor is utilised which is positioned directly on the steering column. The steering torque sensor senses the applied manual steering torque from the driver on the steering wheel and assumes this as the input value. A ride situational steering power assistance is then generated from this input value taking into account other environmental values. Only new original vehicle parts are considered for this application.

STE CAN-BUS
The CAN-Bus node STE 6/50/100 is a didactic CAN-Bus participant as a plug-in element for recording a sensor signal and generating an actuator signal. With up to 4 modules, a high-speed CAN-Bus network can be configured on a plug-in board. The intelligent ID assignment "AutoID" therefore supports the user, there is no configuration with a PC needed. Participants recognise each other and are Plug & Play capable i.e. they can be plugged in or unplugged during ongoing operation. Each module can evaluate a Sensor signal. Possible are:
- Analogue sensors with output voltages of up to 10 V =
- Digital sensors with an output voltage from +5 V or +12 V
- Sensors with PWM interface
